Sophie Spears

Prior to joining MSSG, Sophie worked as a matrimonial associate for Mantel McDonough Riso LLP. Sophie graduated from Northwestern University with honors and attended New York University School of Law.

While in law school, Sophie participated in the Review of Law and Social Change as a staff and executive editor. Sophie's experience with matrimonial law began with an internship at the James B. Moran Center for Youth Advocacy in Evanston, IL. Sophie then worked as a legal intern for the Legal Aid Society of New York, Domestic Violence Unit. Sophie also brings her experience as an Appellate Advocate with the Washington Square Legal Services Clinic at NYU, through which she argued before the Fourth Circuit.
