Couples Can Now Get Their Marriage License Remotely in New York

If you get your license before, and it expires during, the coronavirus pandemic, and you get married, it’s still valid. If you don’t get married during the pandemic and then the emergency ultimately ends—which we’re all looking forward to–and the license had expired, you would have to go get a second license, but you won’t get charged the fee.
